If you’ve ever wondered what Joe would sound like as a 13 year old giggling school girl, wonder no more… simply listen to this podcast.
Despite this, we managed to knock this episode clear out of the park, folks. Tons of great stuff.
Gilnean Like Me (Video)
There are some people who use machinima to tell their own stories. Some of these creators have shared some incredible stories using World of Warcraft as the base for their characters.
Then there are people who use it to further our knowledge and appreciate of lore. This is one such example.
In the machinima “Gilnean Like Me”, by Gnomechewer, we get an entirely different perspective on the Worgen curse. On top of that, the music and effects are absolutely fantastic.
Operation Echo Isles, Troll Druids, and the rise of Vol’jin
I’m pretty confident in saying that we’re all a little excited for the world event changes in the coming WoW patches where Gnomeregan and The Echo Isles will be retaken by the Gnomes and Trolls respectively. But what do we know? There’s been plenty of talk and more than a few leaks here and there across the net with audio bits and transcripts.
Based on the info from wow.com and mmo-champion we can pretty much see where the event is going. From a player perspective, it’s about damn time that Vol’jin got some screen time. He’s never really been anything at all more than a footnote NPC since the game was released half a decade ago until the Wrath-gate event. The Horde have to report to him for all of 12 seconds and then proceed on with the quest. It’s a little insulting if you ask me.
FOR GNOMEREGAN!
We’ve all heard about the upcoming changes to the game, and one of the more interesting ones is something players have been clamoring about for years now. There is finally an assault to take back Gnomeregan.
WARNING SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT
Mass Effect 2 Squad Bio: Mordin Solus
This week’s character is The Genius, the Salarian Scientist Mordin Solus.
Compared to other species, Salarians live relatively short lives. Unlike Asari or Krogans, who live for centuries, sixty years is not much time to leave your mark on the galaxy. Creatures of intelligence, rather than strength or emotion, Salarians excel at all forms of scientific discovery. By these standards, Mordin Solus is the best the Salarians have to offer.
In order to understand Mordin, one must first understand the Krogan Genophage. With the Krogan threatening to overrun the galaxy, the Salarians helped the Turians develop the Genophage, rendering nearly the entire species sterile, halting their explosive expansion that threatened to overrun all of Citadel space.
