Hello and welcome to the 11th episode of For The Lore, with Mr. Bill Roper joining us not just for an interview… oh no… for the entire podcast.

We were so psyched to have Bill Roper on the show. I mean, the man has been ranked 41st out of the top 100 game creators of all time… and to be quite honest, I would have given him a higher score.
The man has accomplished so much in his career already, and he’s nowhere near done. His current work at Cryptic Studios is going very strong with Champions Online and the upcoming Star Trek Online (which Bill says he pokes his nose into occasionally.
The boys (@lodurzj and @spoonwolf) and I were very excited about getting to interview Bill and discuss his career, right from the early days at Blizzard working on Warcraft (yeah, the original) to his current work with Champions Online (and plans for the future).
Bill was a fantastic guest, and he actually decided to stick around for the actual show as well, shooting the breeze with us about a variety of games. His input was priceless, as his perspective was not just that of a gamer, but also of someone who has had a ton of experience in the field.
Also on the show is a great reading from Joe, from the second part of his Champions Online fan fiction.
