This is the crazy season for gamers. I mean, if all you play is one game (yes, I’m looking at all you WoW addicts), then you won’t think twice about walking down the game aisles.

However, those of us who can’t get enough and must play all manner of games are driven to madness by the sheer amount of fantastic titles out this fall.

And so with that in mind, we decided that this week we would give our fans some greatness… a doubleheader with both episodes 006 and 007 in the same week.

We recorded both live on Monday and broadcast the shows on UStream. If you were able to make it out alive after listening to us for three hours, my hat’s off to you.

That said, you sure got some fantastic content during that time… including an amazing interview with not 1, not 2… no… 4 Runic Games guys. Max Schaefer, Travis Baldree, Jason Beck, and John Dunbar joined us for an incredible interview which our live audience got to hear.

That is in episode 006. There’s more gaming goodness in that episode, including a great fan fiction piece by Joe based in the Champions Online world.

As for episode 007, that is our Borderlands Extravaganza. Joining me on that episode is Enrique and back for more abuse, @Samodean of Massive Nerd. We shoot the shit (see what I did there) about our favorite new shooter. We also have guides on the Lilith, Brick and Mordecai, as well as an in-game interview with my ol’ buddy Terry (remember him from WoW Dawgs) about the Roland.

To top it off, there’s a fan fiction piece based on Mordecai, presented as an audio journal (like those found in the game).

I’d like to thank Maneli Jamal for allowing us to use his fantastic guitar solos throughout the podcast. Definitely pick up his CD at manelijamal.com.

Make certain to stop by iTunes and leave us a review!

If you enjoy the show and would like to donate to help cover some of the costs, every little bit is appreciated.

Thanks.

Roger Laferrière... c'est moi. I'm a writer and a gamer, and as such appreciate, above all else, good writing in games. I'm the type of player who reads all the quests and cares about the lore.
