Today, I made the difficult decision to step down from For The Lore. This was not easy. However, having spent a lot of time considering it, as well as discussing it with others, I feel it is the right choice for me.
My reasons for doing so are many… ranging from my disability, which has continued to worsen (as listeners have no doubt noticed with all of my recent absences), to the current state of game development and publishing.
Unfortunately, as the guys are unable to take over, that means that For The Lore is coming to an end. However, this does not mean that we will stop working together, in different ways, as we are able to. Vince and I will be able to devote more time to Popcorn Ronin now, and hope to bring in the guys periodically to shoot the breeze about movies and TV shows. Joe will continue his Lore Watch podcast, as well as his Good Job Channel streaming cast (both of which you should definitely check out). And finally Marty will continue to produce the excellent All Comics Considered podcast.
We started For The Lore nearly ten years ago, and I feel we’ve had a great run. I’m proud of the work we accomplished, and look forward to what’s in the future for us.
