About The Podcast

For The Lore is a podcast devoted to story-driven games. Each week, Roger, Joe and Vince get together to record an episode which they broadcast live, then later released for streaming, digital download or through iTunes.

The podcast covers a range of topics and games, including both lore and gameplay. PC, console and handheld games are given equal attention, as the guys aren’t very discriminating when it comes to platform.

Also in the podcast, you’ll get interviews, guest co-hosts, novel and comic book reviews (when they pertain to games), as well as the occasional fan fiction narration (as the hosts also write).

The podcast began originally in September of 2009, though has since gone through several changes. Enrique, one of the original co-hosts, had to leave the show due to personal issues, though was replaced with Vince who’d already been a regular contributor to the show and fit in perfectly.

In 2010, the show briefly changed name to “Bow Down To Us: The Lore Edition“. The format remained the same, however it became a part of a much larger project… one which eventually became too much for Roger to maintain due to health problems. By December of the same year, the project ended to make time for a rigorous physio-therapy regimen.

Fast-forward six months later, and For The Lore has returned to its roots; a simple story-driven podcast by three guys who have a love of games and the stories therein.
